Compassion Funds

Keeping animals cared for, comfortable, and home with the people who love them.

Sometimes the difference between an animal receiving care and going without isn't willingness—it's money.

Redemption Ride Equine Foundation's Compassion Funds help bridge that gap. These donor-supported programs provide direct assistance for essential animal care when individuals and families are experiencing financial hardship.

We don't hand out cash. We fund care. When assistance is approved, Redemption Ride works directly with the veterinary provider or service provider to cover eligible expenses.

Potato Fund

Prevention keeps them home. That's the goal.

The Potato Fund helps qualifying low-income families access basic veterinary services that can prevent suffering, unwanted litters, surrender, and unnecessary euthanasia.

Funding may assist with services such as spay and neuter procedures, essential vaccinations, and humane end-of-life care.

Applicants experiencing financial hardship can request assistance before scheduling eligible services. When funding is available and the request is approved, we'll coordinate payment directly with the veterinary provider.

There is no requirement to repay assistance. Families who are able and wish to contribute something back to the Potato Fund are welcome to do so. Every dollar returned simply helps the next animal.

Navajo Fund

Because the last act of horsemanship should be compassion.

The Navajo Fund exists for horse owners facing one of the hardest decisions they'll ever make.

When an equine has reached the end of its life and finances stand between the animal and a humane death, the fund may help with veterinary euthanasia and related end-of-life expenses.

No horse should be forced to continue suffering simply because its person cannot afford to let them go peacefully.
